Saints Row 2: Ultor Exposed Review

My first time playing any Saints Row DLC

It's been about a year since I last rolled with the Saints. I Think it's about time I returned to my city, and this time I'll be looking at the first piece of DLC for Saints Row 2, Ultor Exposed where you aid a former Ultor microbiologist played by porn star Tera Patrick.

So yeah that's the plot to this DLC three missions in aiding Tera Patrick gather proof that Ultor sucks, then an interview that goes nowhere and Tera swearing to get revenge on Ultor and never showing up again... fucking really.

I mean the missions are fun it's more Saints Row 2 goodness and some pretty funny lines from the player character including references to FUZZ and Zombie Lin.

But yeah Tera Patrick being here, I mean she's only really here for the joke. The joke being that she's here and a scientist (what?!) But other than that she's not much. Her character model here looks atrocious, I mean she's referred to by the protaganist as being good looking and in real life Tera Patrick is a lovely women but what the fuck happened here? Seriously she looks terrible especially next to the other models in the game.


So yeah the plot is not the point of this DLC, the point is to add more to the Saints Row 2 game. With new vehicles, hair styles, clothing etc.

I mean the new items are cool as hell, getting a new homie is nice. All the missions are Co-Op if you have a buddy to play with and there's even a Co-Op game where you can compete for points.

There's some more multiplayer maps which as I stated before, I couldn't find a single person playing this anymore but hey that's content I'm sure some enjoyed when this came out.

Tera's car: The Temptress. Best thing about this DLC bar none.

I mean that's really all there is to it, I mean howlongtobeat.com clocks the main story at under 45 minutes, and the whole DLC to under an hour and yeah, yeah took me about an hour to do everything there was to do here.


I mean as I said earlier this is just more of Saints Row 2 and if that's what you want it's not a bad thing. But this DLC cost ten dollars and just for me, with lackluster plot and some cool new items admittedly I don't think it's worth it. It's value rests at more like five dollars.

I neither hated my time here. nor did I really enjoy it. The missions were cool but just when it started to get fun it was over. A new character in Tera is cool but nothing interesting is done with her, and nothing here warrants it's price. Here's hoping the next DLC ias worth your time and most importantly mine.
